Attorney Roger Hatfield brings an exceptional blend of legal experience and industry insight to every case.
He’s known for his deep understanding of insurance and consumer law, his dedication to client communication, and his results — more than 1,000 litigated cases and $55 million recovered for consumers across Florida.
While studying at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Roger clerked for Fisher, Butts, Sechrest & Warner, P.A., working with board-certified civil trial attorneys. After graduation, he joined the firm and handled real estate misrepresentation, construction, and property damage claims — building a foundation for his consumer-focused practice.
At the Florida College System Risk Management Consortium, Roger oversaw large-scale property insurance claims and earned his Florida 220 General Lines Insurance Agent License, gaining insider knowledge of insurance policy structures and coverage disputes.
As a General Manager for one of the nation's largest property restoration contractors, Roger saw what property owners endure after losses — and trained in Xactimate and XactAnalysis, the same systems insurers use to estimate damage.
At one of Florida's largest insurance defense firms, Roger gained insight into how insurers investigate and litigate claims — experience that now helps him outthink them.
After Hurricane Irma, Roger joined Morgan & Morgan, where he resolved roughly 1,000 litigated insurance claims recovering more than $35 million for Florida homeowners.
In 2022, he founded Hatfield Consumer Law, uniting his experience and conviction to fight for justice for consumers and accountability for corporations. Since then, he's recovered an additional $21 million for clients in Florida.

Born and raised in Jacksonville Beach, Roger proudly serves clients statewide from his offices in Orlando and St. Augustine.
Roger lives in Orlando with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons, Ryan and Noah. His family inspires his work — and his commitment to protecting others from corporate wrongdoing.
When not representing clients, Roger enjoys boating, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Roger is a double Gator, having earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at UF. He later returned as an adjunct faculty member, coaching the University's trial team.
